Dorney adding 2nd Wave Pool in '06

What truly horrifies me on the waterpark front is that CF will now entertain hotel / indoor waterpark proposals from the sister parks.

No VF, no. Please don't do it.

Why is that a bad idea Playa?

I suspect you will see one at Dorney or Geauga Lake before ValleyFair.

I didn't say it was bad per se--just that I don't want it.

Then again...VF's a good half-hour out of the city, so they'd have a huge proximity disadvantage to Waterpark of America (across from the mall and close to the airport) and the closest major year-round attraction to VF (Mystic Lake Casino) could always upgrade their existing hotel for a fraction of the cost.

Come to think of it, yeah. Bad idea.

Well rumors from the park that WOF is thinking about one - they could always add it there along with the Village and it would compete with Great Wolf Lodge in KCK.
