Dorney & Knoebels

Can someone tell me how far it is from Dorney to Knoebels and the best way to go. Wanted to hit both parks in 1 weekend.

No Problem! From Dorney to Knoebels your looking at about 1hr 45 minutes about (80 miles).

There's a few ways to go I'll give you the simplest way. From Knoebels at the red light make a left (toward Elysburg) Stay on 487 untill you come to the Sheetz and Turkey Hill Maket a left (rt 54) and follow the signs to I-81.

From I-81 you can do 1 of 3 things take the quicker route Or go about 40 miles out of your way and take the idiot proof way. The Idiot proof way take I-81 south until you come to signs for I-78 East. Hop on 78 east and follow that until you get to Dorney.

Or when you come to I-81 head north. I think it is the 3rd exit 61-S (St. Clair/ Pottsville) I believe. Follow 61-S until it meets up with 78-East (you will be on it a while). Once your on 78 E Dorney is about a half hour away (you will see it on the left).

When I goto Dorney I go another way but it has a few more turns more turns. The mileage from my door to Dorney is about 78 miles and to Knoebels is about 12.

If you have a PA road map take a look at the routes. I don't think you should have a problem finding them.
