Dont you just love it when its off season?

I dont know about you but i love it.

Off season = No waits

Well considering the off-season for most of us is no coaster riding at all, I think you are trying to rub it in with SFMM being an all year round park. I would say the majority here are going to say that they dont like it. I am one of them.

"The Peoples Elbow" or "The Spinaroonie?. Cant decide which is the most electrifying move in sports entertainment!!! LOL
The only reason I like it is because it's when coaster enthusiasts wait with joy for their park to receive a coaster, sort of like a second Christmas! :)

The thing I'll be very happy about is that I'll have a lot more money in my pocket. Gas, food, admission, parking, and lodging all start to add up after a while. I will miss hanging out with my coaster friends though.

I can never get enough of the 'season' since I live in Seattle, and have to travel quite a distance to ride anything decent.  So, I guess the answer is a resounding NO!

Don't worry, nasai. Soon SF will make all your coaster dreams come true. ;)

I'm heading to BGT later today, and waits will be MINIMAL (considering I don't really do the haunted houses)...over the Winter, you can have the park to yourself...(and can re-ride without going all the way around)...Waaaa-Hoooo!  LOVE the "off-season"...and for the Northerners, you guys get MUCH better rides (as do the SoCal-ers), so we get 12 months as a trade-off!

"Off-Season" for SFGAdv is CLOSED SEASON! I hate it!!!!!! Sunday's it...'till April.
The only cool thing about the off-season is waiting to see what new coasters will be added next season.  Other than that (living in NJ), its horrible!
I'm sure MOST of us who live in seasonal areas will agree that "off-season" stinks.  Fortunately I may be able to travel a bit during this particular off-season to cushion the blow a bit.

Goliah..... Why don't you ask Jeff to fix your screen name?  Holy cow....  Unless you like uninvited ridicule.  Just e-mail him and ask him to change the misspelling.

Like nasai, I live in Seattle.  My closest legitimate park (at the moment) is Silverwood, 5hrs drive from here.   They're now closed until spring.  That makes me unhappy; and since I spent all of my money this year travelling to other people's home town parks--not having one to call my own--I can't afford to go to SFMM or KBF until next spring anyway.

off-season sucks.

Yeah the off season sucks but im definitely goin to florida for some bgt and maybe ioa. So that should keep me happy for a while. Also im able to follw the construction of rides so that will keep me happy too.

Hey gatorwoodie since you live near bgt how are the waits on weekends because thats when im planning to go to Florida. Thanks!

I am not going to survive the next six months.

Millennium Force....it has its ups and downs.

All I have to say is, yay for Spring Break and Florida.

Yea the off season for me is such a break! nuthing like having some snow storms and ice covering the trees. And just becuase i cant ride a coaster during them i can still ride a refrigarater door down an ice covered hill in the park.Oh yea and i can take a break from parks and do other things such as spend time with my family and finsesh up on my schooling,oh yea and plan my trips for 2002 and then in march starts traveling again.Yea nuthing like a good off season.Hows SFMM in the off season? im sure theres alot of ride rehab?
