So aside from meeting a mysterious old woman selling potions and tickets on a trolley, it would seem that hopes are dim of finding a discount. Oh well. We'll be in the area for 4 nights in a cabin in the woods (perhaps the old woman will be walking around the Smokies?), so I think the "arrive late one night get in the the next day free" deal is about as good as it gets.
The best I could find was $7.60 off through AAA, but they have to be mailed to you. Dollywood's own website is $6.60 off, and you can print them at home. (Assuming AAA's listed gate price of $60.60 is accurate, since dollywood.com doesn't seem to show it.)
The "late + next day" deal starts at 3 p.m., which gives you an extra 4 hours of use (or 5 on Saturday), so that's cool. What I'm not clear about is if you have to buy the ticket after 3 p.m. in person, or if you can buy ahead and use it twice.Last edited by birdhombre, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 11:49 AM
I'm pretty sure you don't have to buy them in person. It has to do with when you first go through the front gate, because a ticket you buy online is just like a ticket you buy at the park.
