Country music singer-songwriter Dolly Parton told TODAY in an exclusive interview that aired Wednesday morning that she's expanding her Pigeon Forge, Tenn. theme park. As part of a 10-year, $300 million project, a new “family” roller coaster is in the works for 2014, said Parton, with a resort hotel to follow in 2015. The add-ons will create thousands of jobs in the area.

Still not worth the removal of Adventure Mountain, in my opinion. Dollywood just fell a few notches in my ratings.

All they need to do now, is put in a Chick-Fil-A, and your jimmies will be really rustled!

I'm confused, though. If Dollywood really needed a hotel, wouldn't they have built one already?

If Dollywood needed a fire-themed family coaster, they'd have one already.

Riiiight... because being located over 3 hours drive from 2 medium sized metros is exactly like being located less than 2 hours from 2 of the largest metros in the nation.

It's astounding how comparisons are only valid when convenient to you. It's the cornerstone of every poor argument you make.

billb, Gator's post wasn't even about a hotel. It took me a few minutes to get it, but once I did, Gator's post was very clever and hilarious... and it had nothing to do with you, billb.

"Fire in the HOLE!"
