Dollywood Opening Week

I skipped the new ride. With a long line and three non riders with me I didn't want to kill a chunk of the day for the family. But, I did walk on to Thunderhead and that was a hell of a ride. I'm not sure how often the wheels touched the track but it was flying. Great ride.

Dollywood is a gem of a park that deserves more attention than it gets. We were very impressed with everything about it.

Why didn't you have a Q-bot? Have you learned nothing here? :)

Anyway it's a great ride and IMO a little extreme to be called a family coaster, I think they are pushing that classification to the limits, but that's probably a good thing.

Just wanted to emphasize how good of a thing that is. At 39 inches, this is definitely a family ride. If only some other parks could work such wizardy.

You now have to be 6 feet tall with a valid driver's license and a credit rating of at least 750 to ride Iron Dragon and Cedar Creek Mide Ride at Cedar Point.

And Dollywood Qbots are only 15 bucks. It's a steal.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I was there on opening day. I got Firechaser right away before the crowds poured in. I loved it! It's a fun little coaster that had more airtime than I anticipated. :)
