Dolly Parton talks of possible theme park in Nashville

Dolly Parton, who marked the 20th anniversary of her Smoky Mountain amusement park Friday, told the crowd: "They don't have a theme park there (Nashville) now and someone will have eventually, and we are looking to that possibility. Whether or not that ever happens, I don't know."

If they build another Dollywood park in Nashville, I'll hit it. I still need to hit the other HFC parks as well. All in good time. All in good time...

Here's another article from todays Tennessean, written by one of their columnists, with mainly her opinions, but also Councilman Charlie Tygard's thoughts about Dolly's announcement.

BTW, what she says about a new ride each year is obviously not correct.
