A 34-year old optometrist left his dog in the hands of Universal Orlando's kennel for a few hours, only to return and find that someone else claimed his dog. The alleged perpetrator offered a claim ticket for that dog. The park is offering a $5,000 reward for the return of the dog.

I'd be devastated, that's for sure, having had two dogs. I hope they catch the dognapper and prosecute them.

What a nightmare. I also have a couple of dogs. If they guy had a claim ticket, I'm not sure what the park could have done. Just seems wierd to me that the guy could get a claim ticket like that...unless they are generic.*** This post was edited by janfrederick 8/3/2004 2:55:55 PM ***
It's a good thing they don't offer a day care center! I'd be extremely upset at a park if I trusted them with my pet and they gave it to someone else.
