Does your staff keep quiting?

I can not keep a staff for the life of me in this game! They all quit almost as quick as I hire them. Does anyone else have this problem or is this another one of the bugs of this game yet to be fixed? Does anyone have an idea as to how I can keep my staff from quitting?

The second you hire them, go into the staff panel, train them to the max and give them a raise. That seems to keep them around for quite awhile.

I do that for every janitor, mechanic, entertainer and vendor (I don't use security staff).

Thanks for the tip Gonch. I had people quitting left and right.
Cool thanks. But how long is quite a while?
well for me none quit at all, give them paths to inspect, keep the staff happy and they will be likely to stay if you go the staff panel make sure ALL staff are happy including vendors to prevent them from quiting.

No idea how long "quite a while" actually is. For now lets call it long enough to complete the scenarios through Tycoon level (the 14 I've done so far)

I usually hire a group of each at first, then do just a little bit of training, maybe one or two rounds of it depending on how much time they are spending on break. Then periodically throughout the course of the game, I'll go back and check on them. A raise will help out allot too, but here's a good trick, if their productivity is on a downhill slide and you have the raises and training maxed out, take the money down all the way to the bottom then raise it up a notch at a time. The amount of time they spend on break will go almost back down to zero in a hurry. I find that if you have employees that are constantly on break no matter the level of pay, training, or reprimand, then your better off firing them and hiring a new person.

Gonchar, how come you don't use security people?

No reason to.

The security guys just stop vandalism. Well, the main reason you get broken benches and such is because your park is dirty. I'd rather hire another janitor to keep things clean than hire a security guy to try to stop peeps from vandalising.

Treat the cause, not the symptom. :)

I rarely use entertainers either - only when I'm forced to make a long queue that people complain about or in particularly crowded areas that I can't relieve another way.

Wow...glad you got that figured out...that would def be a problem. LOL!! The training to the max is a good tip, as well as the raise...do you really need to do both though?

Livin as much as I can...
I do hire entertainers but only when i can afford to hire them, i try not to hire security, very rarley do i , unless desperate to win.
Wow, thanks for the advice guys, looks like the security team is getting laid off :)
Gonch, what do you mean you raise vendors? What vendors can be raised and how?

In the same window where you train the other staff.

"Vendors" seems to include all stall workers and ride workers (the ticket takers).

It helps with parke efficiancy, guests and vips will give it better rating with trained efficiant staff
