"Low Quality Coasters" MY ASS!!! Did you even go on wild thing???? Did you feel those beautiful G's on the coaster? Excalibur is one of the most intense woodies !! So I have no clue what your talking about
Valleyfair 2002. We are getting an inverted just ask around even all the management agree's. We are keeping an eye on Talon Grip Of Fear at Dorney Park so if it goes well for them, Falcon Bird Of Prey B&M inverted 2002 or 2003.

They took my idea! I named an inverted coaster in RCT the same thing.

Actually, the rumor of the coaster was originally Falcon (check out coasternet 2001's news/rumors). VIPER and I work there together and we know eachother, I was the one to suggest Bird of Prey, thank you. =) Valleyfair Rocks!

Excalibur is intense, but it's not a woodie, man. Steel Track = Steel coaster

(If structure material = type of coaster I'll have to make the Coney Island Cyclone my favorite steel coaster)

You are all very foolish for arguing about something so completely pointless. All coasters and the experiences you have are SUBJECTIVE! Everybody has their own tastes, and there is NO right or wrong. It is okay to state a difference of opinion, but it is just that. Can somebody add a reply that is useful to this topic? If not, please start a Millennium Force Vs Steel Dragon 2000 debate and find your thread closed by Jeff.

;)Rollercoasters are like parrots...if you take care of them, they should outlive you;)
I see that this topic has popped up again. After rivisiting the park twice since my first comment, I have to agree. Valeyfair! -does- rock. It still lacks a lot compared to other parks, but Wild Thing and Power Tower are amazing !

By the way Mamba - obviously you like the ride Mamba, but are you kidding ? Wild Thing is great ! I like it better then Mamba even. The turnaround isn't as good as Mamba's helix, but it has an extra (and might I add increadible) airtime hill that Mamba doesn't have. Plus the turnaround is still great, just not as intense. I have to add that I rode them both within a week of each other, so it was easy to compare them. You should ride Wild Thing again and re-evaluate.

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze

I'm riding it next week again and maybe I'll enjoy it more this time.
Any park the has a roller coaster, nevertheless a hyper, "rocks":)

My favorite Coaster is named after Poop, and I actually like Boomerangs! What is wrong with me?

I really enjoyed Valleyfair when we went last summer! I LOVE the Twin Cities, too!!! One of my fav metro areas! Personally, I don't give a care if a coaster breaks records or whatever. I just like a ride that is FUN! And the rides at Valleyfair were FUN! I LOVED Mad Mouse! lol Excaliber was cool, and was Wild Thing and Corkscrew, but I wasn't very impressed with High Roller. Maybe it's just me. But I enjoyed the park very much! I don't think I have ever been to a park that I didn't like! Hopefully that won't change! I think I am going to SFEG in like 2 weeks, so I hope I like that park, too!

Valleyfair will get much better in a couple years with the rumored "steel falcon- bird of prey
You said it Ghostrider2001 - RUMORED. Don't give your hopes up too early. All these rumors can really get to your head. And I heard they began to heavily brake their Wild Thing hyper-coaster.
KraxleRider: Wild Thing has one mid course break that they use and its always been heavy (Aside from the first year, ERT, and last day of the season) Its still a great ride. I think an Inverted would launch the park from being a great regional park to something enthusiasts would be willing to drive to.
