Does SFGAm ever have ERT?

I have been wondering if any groups offer ERT for SFGAm?  If so which groups?

Not that I know of. Great America hasn't had any ERT at all for 2001 and I don't think they had ERT for 2000 either. It would be nice if they gave season passholders a little ERT to make up for Deja Vu and V2 being closed like SFMM did with X, but I don't think they will.

We did indeed get no ERT during 2001 .. But the coaster even (Coasterpalooza?!) did take place in 2000. I wasn't able to attend that year, but I was there in 1999 to ride Bull and Viper.

I wonder why Great America has such a bug up its butt about events like that. My own assumption is that the park doesn't need to care about enthusiasts since it makes so much money off regular people.

Well as I have always said SFGAm doesnt like people, its just a joke of course but sometimes it seems like it with the way you see other parks treat season pass holders and ACE members SFGAm jsut doesnt show the love.
Since SFGAm used to hold the ACE event, is it possible there was a falling out between the park and ACE representatives? I dont know, I am just guessing here. Something must have happened. Hey Shiv(Scott)? Do you know since you used to attend the ACE event at this park?

I was told by my ACE rep that there was no event in 2001 because of a change in the PR person at SFGAm  responsible for scheduling any club ERT events.  I do know that attendees at 2001 No Coaster Con got invitations to the V2 Media day.

Well it was not a true invitation of sorts Riverview Mike.  In actuality they handed out postcards which everyone was to put their names on and mail back to SFGAm for the V2 and Deja Vu media days.  Some of the people who sent their cards in got picked to go to V2 media day (like me, and I have photos on my site if anyone is interested in seeing them) and others got picked for the Deja Vu media day.

I am very thankful that Six Flags allowed me the priviledge of being able to go.

And to answer the question at hand, it was stated by my ACE rep that there would not be an ACE event at SFGAm this year due to the change in PR reps as stated by Riverview Mike.
