I'll be spending the weekend at KI and will be arriving around 4PM tomorrow and the park hours are from 5-10. This will be my first time ever at KI. Do they do ERT on Friday's when the hours are shorter? I saw on the website there is 30 minute early entry for Gold and Platinum users except Friday's during Halloween Haunt, but tomorrow is not HH so I'm not exactly sure since the hours are shorter.

My best ventured guess is no, but a call to the park might clear that up.
I know in the past when the park opened later in the day on fall mornings, like Sundays, they didn't bother with it. Sometimes it's as simple as a staffing issue.
But not to worry, Friday should be an awesome night to go. Saturday? Maybe FastLane will be in order...
Have fun on your first time visit. As familiar as you are with Cedar Point, I'll be anxious to hear your impressions.
Fast Lane is out of my budget. I'll be there Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday, so I think I'll get everything in that I want to. I got plenty of time. I was just wanting to know about ERT since I will be arriving around that time. But I could time my arrival to be more toward 5. I would go check into the hotel to kill some time, but the one who made that reservation is coming down separately and won't be there until around 9:30.
I'm looking forward to this visit. I'll write a trip report when I get back.

Beast at night. If you ride nothing else, ride Beast at night.

Another question. Is everything open on Friday nights or is limited like CP's Halloweekend Fridays?

We did take advantage of early-entry last year (within our constraints). In just the last half-hour of "ERT", we got in several Banshee rides....once the crowds got let in, the line went to 40-45 minutes *immediately.*
edited to clarify: Morning early-entry, regular operating day (not Halloween season).
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
I was there with my daughters last Sunday, and though I didn't stop by any of the big coasters, I got a pretty good look at Banshee and Diamondback's queues from the Eifel Tower and they looked pretty empty (and the weather couldn't have been better).

Thabto, you might want to check this out. Looks like KI is looking for riders for a commercial shoot on Friday night.

Also, I believe all the rides are open at Kings Island for all Friday nights. If anything, some of the Planet Snoopy rides might be closed due to very low demand on Friday evenings.
Diamondback, Firehawk, and Flight of Fear are the 3 coasters that will accumulate a longer line (depending on crowds). Banshee has the best capacity of any non-racing coaster I have ever seen.
