I was just thinking... Hulk is a coaster you never here about them having technical difficulties with. Why is that?

I have wondered this too.
Come to think about it, everytime I have been there, Hulk has never had a problem. A good mantenice crew I would say. Meanwhile next door spidey always has its share of problems. Allthough the last couple of times ive been there its been ok.

Also, B&M makes quality coasters that NEVER seem to have problems. I have had the luck (and pleasure!) of riding a good 15 or 20 different B&Ms, and have only once seen one down. (BKF, due to a lightning strike. Hardly B&M's problem.)
Just goes to show that you get what you pay for!

In all my years, the only B&M i've ever seen down for an extended period of time was Raptor in 96. and that was only for the morning.

It's really amazing to watch a 3 train B&M at work. Every train out their perfect intervals, the people just rushing on and on. I love it!

Yeah. What about Duelling Dragons? I notice red dragon brakes down most of the time.
Even though it is much lower-tech, this must be the launched-coaster with the least number of problems. Plus it's an uphill launch!

Hulk uses a mechanical launch system which is much more reliable than LIMs. However it is also less powerful. As compared to Spiderman, the Hulk is about 1% as complex. And, yes, B&Ms do seem to be amoung the most reliable of coasters.
