Yep MK is the one park I’d say nearly every Disney vacationer has to stop at.
Someone mentioned in a thread awhile back about building a duplicate MK didn’t they? To space out the crowds. That would almost be smarter than building a true 5th gate.
I’m sure it’s something Disney has thought of. Not sure if it makes financial sense for them though? It wouldn’t increase revenue, just make the customer experience better. Is that worth spending millions/billions to create a mirror MK park??
They could do the anti magic kingdom, make it like an alternate reality, and the exact opposite of the magic kingdom.
I like the mirrored park idea but it's surely an enthusiast fever dream. But since we are talking about I considered Magic Kingdom Classic: the Magic Kingdom you remember (good luck choosing which era that is). How about Magic Kingdom Villains. It's The Magic Kingdom but the villains took over.
I look at each attraction, not even each park. The popular attractions need to somehow have even better capacity. That's the very basic solution. And that seems almost impossible. Space Mountain already has two tracks. If they wanted to make one or two more tracks, they'd need to tear down the entire attraction and rebuild it. Same with all the other very popular attractions.
And with new rides, they know that there is going to be long waits when they build one.
I love the idea of building a third Disney in Texas, or somewhere else. That would probably balance out the crowds at the other two parks, and bring them even more paying customers overall. It would be a huge investment up front though.

That's basically 80% of Flori-duh.

I do think a "villains" park would be a homerun. Not sure it necessarily needs to be a knockoff of the MK. I think a completely new concept that puts the visitor in the lesser-known worlds of the bad guys could be extremely popular...and could be home the Mickey's Very Scary Halloween Party, Nightmare Before Christmas, and other types of special events that would complement the park.

Only way I go back is if they create new park entirely themed around the 2004 Disney classic Home on the Range.

Under-rated, indeed.

This has been done in a few different places. Dumbo became Double Dumbo. Toy Story Mania got a third track, and Soarin' got a third theater. All were very useful additions.
It is possible I was being somewhat tongue in cheek. But he does have one of my favorite Bad Guy Songs.
