Does Cedar Point pay for Wicked Twister?

With the repairs that have been going on with Wicked Twister, does Cedar Point pay Intamin to fix the ride?

Intelligence is a God given gift: Know how to use it.

I'm Assuming a coaster comes with some sort of warranty... So Intamin is probably paying for it. And it seems like CP likes Intamin since there buying another coaster built by them 2 years in a row.

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

It's not just with CP and Wicked Twister, most new rides have problems when they start out. I am sure that most coaster companies expect that now. But depending on the problem, it is probably paid for by the company, unless the problem was caused by the park.
Yea, wouldn't it be funny if that was the track going up to Michigan's Adventure lol. That's ok. SOrry I have my doubts though, that's ok. Id on't see why they wouldn't like Intamin, they make their rides good and right.

Yes, well the ride is back to full power again, so lets hope we don't have anymore problems with it.

How are the lines for Wicked Twister. Wheres the best seat and it's still not running full power yet, right? Just a couple of questions.

btpcheater, the search function is your friend.

Best seat is the back seat, it's running full power (as indicated by the post above yours) and the lines are at most 1 hour.

"SUCKA!!!!!!!"
-quotes I have been known to exclaim on coasters.

After the ride is handed over the Cedar Point (guests can then ride it), it is the park's job to keep it running and repair it. Usually some stipulations apply such as design problems (aka bugs), but for the most park the park will repair the ride.

You mean Twister is running just like it was way back in May, with both backwards passes going all the way up the tower again?

If so, woohoo!!!! I was getting sick of having all my friends tell me how crappy it was because of how they toned it down when I know how good it really is. Thanks for the great news!

Since when is WT running full power? I was just there this week and it certainly didn't look full power to me. On none of the passes did the train make it much past 2/3 the way up the spike.

As of Wednesday night, it was going full power (see my TR). The second pass in each direction was going a car's length from the top every time. It really was quite a rush, as you could feel the sudden acceleration as you came off the opposite tower just before going full speed.

The ride is most certainly "back."

And I missed it by exactly by a week. To think the ride was good "watered down". I can only imagine full power.

Why is everyone convinced it's running at full power?

The day Jeff was there, it was running higher than I've ever seen, but since then it's been going halfway up that back spike again. nowhere near what it was when it first opened.

Dammit, I knew it was too good to be true. Should I be holding out hope for next year then?

JC, who is bummed Wicked Twister will not be running wickedly on Sept 20 for his last visit of the season. :(

It tastes like burning.

Friday it was going about 10 feet LOWER on the final backwards pass compared to opening day. They are apparently running at what is now considered "full power" but isn't what it was opening day.

Welcome "aboard" Wicked Twister. Please keep your hands and arms inside the midway at all times.
