Does anyone trust ride operators?

the teens at sfne are SLOW they talk to each other constantly instead of checking lapbars, and even sending out the ride! they make everyone wait.

I tend not to trust ops at Six Flags, they seems as if they are forced to be there.

I trust them. Especialy the ones at CP and Kennywood. They seem to know what they are realy doing, the ones at PKI seemed fairly trustworthy. At Indiana Beach is the only place I felt slightly insecure, they almost dispatched at train on Cornball Express with a train with open lapbars.

I dont trust the Ride Ops, but I do trust the park for hiring competent people, and the designer for desgining a safe and good ride.

We should all know by now to trust the Dippin Dots guy 5 times as much as we trust the Ride Operator... ;)

I trust the ones at CP, and some of the ones at PKI. I don't like it when people on SOB's crew stand and gossip instead of doing their job.

As a Ride Op. @ Lagoon, I don't trust some of my fellow Ride Ops. There are just some people who shouldn't work at Amusement/Theme Parks. I am very passionate about my job, and I am ALWAYS thinking that people are putting their lives in my hands. Before I dispatch a train or start a ride, I always take one last look, to make sure everything is all right. If I am checking lapbars on a coaster with a person I don't trust, I have and will double check. On our Out and Back woodie, before I enable the train for dispatch, I always make sure the other person has checked the lapbars correctly. I have complained many times to management about Ride Ops. not doing their job properly, and every time, the problem has been solved immediately in one way or another. Safety should be everyone's Number One priority.

well you have to trust them if you want to ride the coaster right? hehe

lets look at a scenario if you dont trust them:

Friend: Lets ride raptor!
ME: nah i dont trust the ride ops ill just sit on the bench
Friend: Ok loser have fun *runs off to the line*
ME: you sucker gonna die! *laughs*

I trust them.

At CP yes, I'm not just saying that because it is my home park. The ride-ops are so professional there. At other parks it just seems like they can't wait until they get off work.

Why would you not trust them?
