Does anyone still play the original RCT scenarios?

I just started going back to the original game and it made me remember why I liked the game so much originally, and why I'm usually so bored with it now. The scenarios were SO much better, even the scenery and layouts are better. Bumbly Beach is the absolute best! I think I'm done with LL for good.

I just started playing around with RCT and I haven't done anything but the original scenarios. I also only use it about once a week. for an hour or two. Maybe I'll install it on my work computer ;)

I still play the orginal so i can make my self work to win. The older ones seem harder

Funny thing about the older ones, I NEVER had to use advertising to win. In most of the AA/CF levels, I find it hard to win without it. (of course i just use max advertising from like july to october of the last year)

Since the year in which I have had RCT, I never once even tried to play a scenario! I just mess around and build my own parks!

I love the new rides with the add-on packs, but you are right: the add on scenarios suck. Especially the LL ones. Those complete the coaster scenarios get under your skin! *** This post was edited by tails on 1/31/2001. ***

Yeah I agree with tails, I hate those "finish the coaster" scenarios but the new rides and themes help keep the game fresh.

I love playing the old scenarios because I haven't finished all of them yet and for me it keeps the game fresh and challenging.

I like the original scenarios better because I like the landscapes of the park more then the ones found in the expansion pack.

I only ever bothered conmpleting 3 scenario's. That was enough. I'd much rather build Real Parks.

I don't play RCT for the challenge but the original scenarios are easy to fit a large ride into as the newer ones aren't (IMO).
