I was looking at a video on www.kake.com
, and they were talking about the groundbreaking for the new Wild West World was being pushed back. And they said that Joyland was bought this week by an out of state park company. Does anyone know who that was?

I thought that Joyland was purchased back by the original owners. Maybe things have changed in the past few months?

It was, and now the original owners sold it.

To whom did they sell it?

Are you sure? Duane at RCDB still has it listed by the original owners.
Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

Look at the video on kake.com. It says the original owners sold it to an out-of-state amusement company.

Don't go by what the broadcast media says as gospel. They have been known to get their facts mixed up. I'll wait and see what AB or Amusement Today says.

I haven't heard anything about this. I was under the impression that the original owners were going to hold on to the park for the time being.

They took it back, and have engaged a commercial real estate broker (Occidental) to find a qualified buyer.
