Do You thunk Wacky world will be released early

Do You thunk Wacky world will be released early just like RolllerCoaster Tycoon 2 was?

No, I don't *think* so.

jon25, RCT2 was not meant to be released early. Target put it out on the shelves a week early, and they have probably learned their lesson now. Don't count on it coming out early.

I don't even know if some Target stores even knew it wasn't of spose to be release until the 15 of Oct, 2002. I wonder if they even had the do not open until Oct 15 posted on the box the game came it. I've been at stores and seen street dated boxes. Basicly its up to the Game Company and the Store Company to put these dates on the box. I think the stores didn't do well enough not to violate the street date. Infogames is probally gonna make better enforcement of the street date for WW.

Coming to WOF in 2003: A New Dippin' Dots stall :-)

I think Target knew. I remember signs in front of the game sections with RCT II for Oct. 15. It was probably just a mistake.

lets see, so you want to know about thunking and Wacky World. Well, I think RCT2 was written in 32 bit code so unless the expansion is in 64 bit code there will be no need for thunking...

oh you meant "think"...

well no, I THINK it will be released on schedule...

No, I still can't believe that Target released RCT2 early.

All who think Mean Streak needs a match taken to it say I.

They probaly released it early so they could beat out the compition, like walmart and k-mart
And get a hefty fine for doing so? I'm not positive, but I'd bet they did get fined.

yup, L&Rm $10k per copy sold is the going rate on something sold before the street date hit. I know this because when I worked @ walmart, Blair Witch Project came out early cause Target did the same thing with it, and we got an email telling us all the details. they sold 120 some odd copies and got a ten thousand dollar fine for each one. Ouch!
