Do you think Cedar Point Will slow down Millennium

The brakes on BKF before the Cobra Roll are not on straight track.

They put it there because the brake run isn't long enough. However, there comes a point where a few mph difference can't be felt.

People crying about brakes is one of my pet peeves.

"There are brackets just before the final turn and right after the cross back of the lagoon, built right in to the track. I'm not positive they're for brakes, but I suspect that is what they're for. I'm not suggesting there will be brakes in these positions, but rather the option would be available."
I can't swear bout those particular brackets, but I've been told by a reliable source that the mountings for trims exist, so you are almost certainly right.
What does Steel Dragon 2000 have to do with Millennium Force being braked?

The record of speed (if thats what you're after) isn't going to be regained by Millennium Force. Period.

I dunno Jeff, I've heard from many people that there *IS* a noticable difference in that last bunny hop before and after the brake. If you not agree, fine, but by your own admission, you've only ridden four times. The reports I heard were from people who had DL as a home park (Hell, one cat worked there).

I believe they were talking about the magnetic brake system that is used on Millennium Force that must be on a straight section of track.

The trim on Superman at Darien Lake makes a dramatic difference. It has something to do with getting doubled over the lap bar when you should be flying down the hill on the second-to-last hop; and the last hop is somewhat different. The action on the last hop is not affected nearly so much as the spot where they mounted the brake. They really should have put the brake on the uphill side where the train would be slowing down anyway.

Yes, I've ridden with and without.

"Does this mean they will slow down Steel Dragon 2000 also? I say no for Millennium Force. I would think they may add trim brakes before the last turn going into the station."

First of all, we don't need to be bringing SD2K into a discussion like this again. Second, why do you think they will add trims?
