Do you think Arrow got offended?

What are you saying? If you're saying that Morgan makes bad hypers or you think that making hypercoasters is not a viable business, I respectfully disagree. After looking at your track record, you haven't ridden any Morgans, so surely you weren't saying they make bad coasters. Steel Force is highly regarded, Mamba is awesome (I guess my signature gives away my opinion on that), and I've heard that Wild Thing and Steel Eel are good fun as well. I've never really heard any TRs on SD2000, but the ride looks sensational. While the Morgan rolling stock seems to get bashed a lot as being constrictive and unfashionable (How can you not see when you're only two wide?), I've never heard anyone who really hated their rides.

As far as Morgan as a business is concerned, I'm sure that they don't make the money that some of the companies (like B&M) do, but it seems like they're doing fine. A quick look at their history shows that they undertake one major project per year, and each one has been a success. I don't see any reason that Morgan would be financially unstable or would be "unable to make a living" by building great hypercoasters.

I think Arrow is going with the "Don't get mad, get even" philosophy. I mean, how many YEARS has the 4-D been in development? Perhaps Arrow would not have even wanted the job of redoing SP into PR, because they were (are) dedicating so much of their time on X and future 4-D's.

After all, if the 4-D is a success right out of the gate, Arrow will be on top of the coaster world again!

Based upon *1* coaster. Well, I would disagree. If *X* is successful, Im sure other bigger/faster products will follow, but then what. The next question everyone would ask is what else do you have to offer? I just wouldnt put them up there with B&M/Intamin, intil after X debuts and they start implementing more coaster designs, cause you cant ride on the X design forever.

True! But, look at what the Inverted coaster did for B&M. As they rode the wave of success on their inverted design (and the $$$ generated from it) they were able to make many new designes that allowed them to become the dominant company they are from the early 90's to today. (I know there are plenty of other successful companies, but I personally think that B&M is the current "measuring stick" for steel coasters)

Also, notice I said IF the 4-d is a success right out of the gate... that's a big "if." It just might be the next Superman:TE or Stealth, standing for a year before it actually opens. I am HOPING and PRAYING that it works right the first time, but there is the chance that it won't.

Soggy, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. New concepts can be risky, financially. It may look great in the design phase. Heck, it can look fantastic in the prototype phase. But after convincing a park to put one in and see how the general public is going to react to it is a big gamble. It can make or break the company that built it, and be a PR bonanza, or a nightmare for the park.
Don't bash Morgan. Mamba, Steel Force, and Wild Thing are the Morgans I've been on and I loved them.

By the way, I haven't had time to update my track record so don't say anything about me lying.
Was Arrow's fault for making a crappy coaster to begin with.

Why would arrow care? Morgan helped ron toomer design the phantom in the first place.
