Do You like ride clones ?

What do you think of ride clones ? do you like them ? I mean like only a clone of a ride where there is only about 3 of that ride in the entire world. Do you like clone like that ?

Yeah, it gives many people the oportunity to ride a rollercoaster (of which they might've traveled 2,000 miles or more to ride, not to mention the money involved!).  Just as it's not like the boomerang craze it's healthy.  Plus, the designers and other related workers get money in their pocket quickly!

       Yes I still like clones even if they've been cloned a hundred times. Some rides, ST or MF, should however not be cloned because they are very unique and it would ruin some of that if they were cloned. What you must remember though is that 95% of people will have no idea it's a clone anyway so it doesn't matter to much if it's a clone. It's always good to have a custom coaster that is completely unique to represent the park though ex. ST, MF like I said.

I don't like clones. I mean I like most of the rides but I hate the fact that they are cloned. I like all the coasters to be different that way it gives it a different character.

I like SOME clones, like Roar, Greased Lightnin', or B:TR. But some clones like Boomerang and SLC I think we could cut down on them a little bit.

I don't really like clones, especially the very common boomerange style. 

I'm not a huge fan of clones. But they are ok to an extent. It really depends on the ride for instance, I can do without the Boomerang's and SLC's; but I'll still take a ride on an SLC and you'd have to pay me to ride a Boomerang. And on the flip-side, I'll take an Invertigo or Impulse over both the SLC and the Boomerang.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it's a good ride, then it's ok.

Bleeechhh, I'd rather ride an original, something that is one of a kind. Something that I'll never see anywhere else. I know it is more work, but why not make something new? If not innovative or completely different then strive to be just a bit better or more efficient. I'm going to be happier going to SFGA and riding a new coaster that you will see no where else in the world then riding on one that they already have in Texas. Who cares?

Oh no, not again! Come on, this is one of the most overdone forums on Coasterbuzz. It's one of those forums that has no answer. You either think clones are horrible, or you think like me, and believe that everyone has the right to enjoy the same ride, regardless of where they live. Someone please put this forum out of its misery, now.

If it's a good ride to begin with, sure.  I know another good Cy-clone, B:TR, Invertigo, Impulse, etc., is always more than welcome.  And, after I'm done theming it well, it'll be a truly unique ride, even if it IS a clone...

It absolutely depends on the ride.
I am not that much of a Boomerang fan, but I think that Batman: The Ride is pretty cool.
I haven't been on an impulse, but they look great.

It just depends on the ride. If Cedar Fair put a Raptor clone at Knotts, I wouldn't be complaining that it is a clone.
Not to say that they should or would ever do that, but hypothetically that would be great.
It just depends on the ride.
