do shuttle coasters have brake failure

Has anyone had a shuttle coaster suffer a station brake failure. I have never seen a boomerang or  swartzkof  shuttle speed back up that back incline due to a station brake failure.Nor have i seen my Flight of Fear replicas or hypersonics speed right on through the station

The only shuttle i've built that has  crashed from brake failure is an arrow. I dont put that little incline at the end of the shuttle like in the blackpool senario. I put a series of 4 mph brakes on  that end so the train doesnt make it all the way level then falls back through the loop and is pulled back into the station. i think those 4mph brakes failed causing my crash

I've seen a station brake failure on a looping shuttle.  All it did was repeatedly launch, with the peeps all going "I want to get off..." after a few cycles.

Gregleg, mine did that on the prebuilt steel shuttle loop-kept on launching while the peeps started going "i want to get off shuttle loop"

Yeah, I've had that same thing happen, but the mechanic is usually there before they start to complain too much. I don't usually build coasters with the reverse incline (extra space, in my opinion), so I'm not sure what happens in that event.

don't pay attention to this post,I am new and seeeing how stuff works

test says me

Thanks for the input  I would still like to see a schwartskopft shuttle run thru the station and  up that back hill  which I always put in for realism. Or a intamin impulse go up the back hill .

I am conducting an experiment now where i have removed a piece of track behind the station before the incline of my white lightnin replica and letting it run nonstop  If the train does suffer brake failure  I will get a crash notice

If there is a station brakes failure on a shuttle, it will not go up a back hill if you built it. The game must only allow trains to go through the station forwards, so, that makes them launch forward.

I've only seen it once, on a complete circut shuttle coaster. It was based on a figure 8 loop Schwarzkopf designed, but never built. It barely made it up there to begin with, and when it broke down, the launch must have been weaker, because it rolled back intead of getting through the loop on top. Once it got back to the station, it launched again.

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

I've had a station brake failiure on a Suspended Looping boomerang, but since then I set the inspection time to 10 minutes and I've never had one again (the restraints get stuck a lot, though).
