Does anyone of you guy and galls have some sort of rendering or picture of DLP's Space Mountain track-layout? I know what i kind of inversions this great coaster has, but never found out out how you make your way through the building. Thanx!

Well, As far as I know, no websites has a complete rendering of the ride... but given a computer program that can do drawings, I could do one of the last half... Anyway, here is what happens.

As the train crests the B lift, its dives to the right, doing a turn into a hill. The train then dive under the waiting line walkway, before passing between a crushed asteroid. Up you go into the Tongue Inversion. As you exit it, the music change pace and now, its a triumphant tone as you enter the ending trench. (yep, its in a trench). You do a large 360 helix, with paintings on the wall, that glows in the black light (the light things you see on the right) before going up in the electro de Velocitor, where you are trimmed.

You then do a S turn into either one of the station.

WOW that site is sweet! Kudos to the lad that runs it. That model is great. If I remember correctly, they made it themselves (ties and all), even though it resembles a Spacewarp. The combination of Orlando's RRC and SM must make for one hell of a ride. I wonder if these Vekomas will do away with the OTSRs someday.....

Unfortunately... Space Mountain at DLP will never be lap bars only... Or else, you'd hit one of the MANY walkways in the ride (actually, the only part Cast members or Maintenance can't reach is the upper part of the sidewinder and the top of the Tongue Inversion!). The rest has a walkway. Also, coming down the B lift (in the drop), with your hands up you hit either a staircase or a walkway if you dont have a harness and have your hands in the air.
Nevermind then! That will leave a mark....
