Disney's MGM Studios or Disney Studios?

I recently received my new Disney video in the mail. As my family and I were watching, it came time to show Disney's MGM Studios theme park. But instead of calling it Disney's MGM Studios, they just called it Disney Studios! Even the little see through logo in the right corner just said Disney Studios! So I went to Disney's website and they still say Disney MGM studios. Anyone know of a name change?

I heard that Disney is having problems with MGM and it is starting to get ugly so in anticipation in all publications, vacation videos, etc are calling it Disney Studios (If MGM leaves the name will probably change to Walt Disney Studios).

Actually, MGM has been chopped off for some time. If I recall correctly, there contract expires sometime this year to use the MGM name, and they have no plans to renew it. What a waste.

Heres another topic we had on it a while back:

I thought that they were changing it to Disney Studios Florida...at least that's what I thought they were doing. I think the reasoning behind that was to tie in with Disney Studios Paris. Make sense to me.

I noticed the exact same thing last night while watching my Disney Video I just got in preperation for my Disney vacation starting in a week. I like the name Disney Studios, although it is going to be tough to rebrand everything in the park and existing maps and such.

I have a windbreaker shirt that I got from Disney about 3 years ago...black, very cool fabric, and branded with a small embroidered film camera, outline of Mickey's ears, and "Walt Disney Studios" underneath it.
