Disney's California Adventure opens Tower of Terror tomorrow

Disney's California Adventure officially opens Tower of Terror tomorrow. The park hopes that the $75 million ride will boost attendance at the park, which has been somewhat disappointing since it opened three years ago. Analysts expect a rebound in the theme park industry in general this year.

Just an FYI, Disney will announce their 50th Anniv plans tomorrow.

Exciting stuff. So far we know of the complete redo of Space Mountain. I wonder what else they have planned.

They'll announce Buzz Lightyear, I suspect.

I got a chance to ride the Disney MGM version a few weeks ago for the first time since 1995. It was fun before, but the new random drops make it a top notch ride. It might be my favorite ride at Disney World.

There is a ToT trip report from last week during Annual Pass Preview posted on RRC. A Google search will find it easily. There are spoilers. Overall the ride is getting rave reviews.
