Disneyland's new 15 acre acquisition is not for park land, company says

The Walt Disney Company confirmed the purchase of nearly 15 acres of land near its Anaheim Disneyland Resort, but said the land would not be used to expand rides or attractions, a company spokesperson said Wednesday. The purchase is designed to be used for warehousing and parking purposes.

Given the layout of the parcels, it does seem clear they would be used for non-guest facing purposes, allowing Disney to open space in and around the parks for new attractions by moving offices, parking etc to these properties.
