Disneyland's Club 33 a secret and exlcusive treat

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

The hottest attraction at Disneyland may be the biggest secret. It's not plotted on any official Disneyland maps. Thousands of tourists pass by every day, oblivious. Only a number discreetly posted next to an unmarked door indicates where the exclusive Club 33 sits. That's the way the club likes it. The low profile isn't hurting the members-only restaurant: The wait to join stretches out nine years. Even for members, it's necessary to call months in advance to book a table for the peak summer months or holidays.

Must be nice, but I don't have $7,500 to join + $3000 a year :)*** This post was edited by Peabody 6/14/2007 10:44:21 AM ***

And then you have to make advanced reservations on top of that!
The most extreme DL nerd (moreso than I) that I've ever heard of is an Austrailian guy who is a member, and only gets to the the park once a year! That's pretty f'ing extreme if you ask me! :)
Could this be the club that we caught a glimpse of on that *shocking* Disney Paris video? Where even Mickey and Minnie let loose?
The first time I heard about this was a year ago when a friend of mine were having a conversation about Disneyland and he mentioned something about some Club his parents are members of, where they hold dinner parties in some "secret" area inside Disneyland. I laughed at him and called him a dummy. Oops.
"exlcusive" -- Jeff's new take on the word exclusive? ;)

Not even French Laundry in Napa is that exclusive. What makes this restaurant that much better?

"Better" is defined by some as more exclusive. The quality of the food doesn't even matter.
I have know about that place since I was little...

It really is not that big of a sercret... But I have never known anyone that has been a member... I have been in the lobby down stairs once before when I went whith my mom to work...

It can't be a big secret if theres headlines about it such as "Disney's Biggest Secret is..". If that's a headline... then it's no longer a secret as the headline says...

For such an exclusive/upscale place, I was highly dissapointed to see pictures of people eating from a buffet!

If I'm shelling out that kind of dough, it's not gonna be for a buffet, no matter how good it is.
