Disneyland turns 50, rededicates today

Disney executives, Walt's daughter Diane, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and former TV personality Art Linketter are all going to Disneyland today -- to celebrate the theme park's 50th anniversary. The gates to the world-famous Anaheim attraction open at 8 a.m., and a 10 a.m. rededication ceremony is set in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, where Schwarzenegger will join Disney chief executive Michael Eisner, his successor Robert Iger and Linkletter, who helped open the park on July 17, 1955.

I completely forgot about the anniversary being this week. I'll be heading out there this weekend for three days of magic, happiness...and strollers! It's going to be a busy one, that's for sure :)
