Disneyland Resort officials have invited its Anaheim neighbors to community coffee events at local parks so officials can explain what the proposed plan, known as Disneyland Forward, entails and give residents a chance to ask questions about the proposed expansion.

Disneyland Forward sounds like a very exciting project, even though there are very few details about what is planned. Based on renderings I've seen, it looks like there may new entrance gates in the area Disney is proposing to expand the theme parks. This would be a benefit to those staying at Paradise Pier and Disneyland Hotel. Even the parking garages to the north are much more doable without having to hop on the monorail. My assumption is there will be some sort of bridge connecting the legacy parks with the new lands. The bridge over Disneyland drive connecting areas of Downtown Disney is very subtle and very well done. I can easily picture a bridge between Boardwalk Pizza and the butt end of Incredicoaster, but I'm not seeing a great place from Disneyland. The area near Pooh Corner makes sense but seems a bit too far north.
