In 2006, they'll be opening their version of the Buzz Lightyear dark ride. Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is the name of that one and it should be a complete clone of the DL version, since it replaced the circlevision theater too!
2007 should be interesting. The abyssimal Walt Disney Studios will be opening their first themed attractions, Toon Studios. It will have 2 attractions:
Cars: A custom Zamperla Demolition Derby (like Francis Ladybug Boogie at DCA) themed on the upcoming Pixar movie.
Crush Turtle Twister, themed on Finding Nemo will be a Maurer-Sohne spinning coaster. It will be indoor, except for an outside drop at the beginning of the ride.
The ride will start with a lift, the small drop outside, followed by a dark ride portion. After, a lift through the sunken ship with "attacks" from animatronic sharks will get the coaster part started. The coaster part will be standard Maurer-Sohne spinning coaster, like Steel Dragon at Waldameer or Whirlwind at Seabreeze. Theming, special effects, etc. during that portion. Plans were online for Crush Turtle Twister, but DLRP forced the poster to remove them.
2008 will be the debut of the Tower of Terror. A clone of DCA's TOT, but it was expected, since the DCA Tower was first designed for the Walt Disney Studios. What is strange is that the Tower of Terror will be built in the middle of the park, instead of expanding a small park!
