Disney World Trip...March 18th - 21st, 2009

We decided to go up to Disney World to celebrate my husband's birthday...what we didn't plan on was "Spring Break"beginning so early this year. We found out that alot of the schools up north...Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, etc. have begun to migrate south. The parks were crowded. We went to Epcot on the 19th since Mike wanted to use his birthday for free admission and also, we both enjoy The Flower and Garden Festival which was only into it's 2nd day, and already jam packed. We arrived at 9:30am and already "Soarin'" was 120min wait. No fast passes left for that one. "Test Track" was even worst..no fast passes left. So, we basically enjoyed the flowers and topiaries, the countries; meeting some people and talking where they were from. We also noticed that tempers were running a bit high with parents and their kids...WOW! Lots of blood pressures were on the rise that day. We went to The Hollywood Studios on Friday, March 20th...got there early...grabbed fast passes for The Tower of Terror & The Rockin' Rollercoaster for 2 rides each (Mike doesn't ride, so I used his ticket to get extra fast passes). Of course, as always, The Rockin' Rollercoaster was awesome as was The Tower of Terror; but, again, if I hadn't got the fast passes, the wait time was outrageous, and, so early in the day! Also, there again, tempers were on the rise as well as blood pressures with parents and their kids...don't know what it was..but, it was pretty noticable both days. Oh well, we had a nice time despite everything. Won't be going back now until after the Spring & Summer Breaks are over...around September that's when we have our next trip planned up there.
