More than that, I think a need to feel some normalcy speaks. I'm going to amusement parks this weekend for just that reason.

Kudos to the company known as Disney. Although this isn't smart on ANY theme parks part, they need to move on. This might not be over, though, because of all the speculations, and that's a reason why I'm not going to SFMM for a while, but, I think its good for them (I guess) to stay open to keep in business.

The faster we return to a state of "living" rather than "living in fear" -- the better. Certainly Disney is in no danger of going bankrupt regardless of how long they may decide to be closed, but this will help everyone continue living.

I refuse to allow those bastards to break my spirit, and they won't break the spirit of this country. We are a country in grief, but unless you are among the unfortunate deceased, we must keep on living.

This is not the first time WDW has closed. When a hurricane came through a little while ago, they closed. I suppose they've closed a few times, when storms and stuff like this has happend...

It was not a long time ago that they closed, in fact just 2 years ago. Hurricane Floyd, which never did make a direct hit on Disney, but continued on to devastate the rest of the east coast particuliarly from Va on up through New England. Disney did the right thing then and they did the right thing this time too. Hindsight is 20/20 but you can't take the chance in a situation like this. Disney is an American landmark, and although it may not be a governmental entity, it is something that could have been a target of these sick people.

My question is this, there is a coaster get 2gether at Six Flags Great Adventure on the 15th with 6.5 hours of ERT, will this still be going on since it is about 1.5 hours away from the City of NY?
