Disney using celebrities for high-style print ads

At the request (and paycheck) of Disney, Annie Leibovitz has set her photographer's eye for beauty on the magic of Walt Disney's theme parks. The first three images from Leibovitz were revealed today. They will form the backbone of a new promotion for the Year of a Million dreams promotion. Additional images have already been ordered.

Those are pretty amazing photos. The one with Scarlett Johansson is breathtaking, not just because of her, but the overall composition. Very classy without being cartoony.
That one is excellent.

The only one I don't get is where Lyle Lovett is the March Hare. He doesn't look much like the March Hare (they could have done SOME makeup on him).

I like the ideas and can't wait to see more.

I'm also interested in how they did the flames on the Beckham photo. I would think they were added later (just for the safety of both him and the horse) but its an excellent photo.

Now if you could actually meet Scarlett at Disneyland, I might just have to get an AP. ;)
Except she wouldn't be at DisneyLand. That's Snow White's castle.

But she would still be worth getting an AP.

DL's castle is Sleeping Beauty's Castle
MK's and DLJ's is Cinderella's Castle
DLP's is Belle's Castle
Yeah, I'm an idiot.
They were in an article in Friday's USA Today. Didn't read the article and thought Beyonce was starring in a remake of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland... >_<

Dude, Oliver Platt as the Mad Hatter. 'Nuff said. :P
Next up in the series:

Robert DeNiro portrays Peter Pan, flanked by a Jeneane Gorofalo Tinkerbell. So hot right now.

Snow White lived in a hovel with a bunch of shorties. ;)
Sorry Touchdown, but the castle at Disneyland Paris is also Sleeping Beauty's castle (not Belle's castle). The park uses both English "Sleeping Beauty's Castle" and French "Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant" (literally translated: Castle of the Beauty of the Woods Sleeping). Same fairy tale. Same heroine. But the newer castle is much more impressive.
