I have to admit that those new waterfront units are pretty cool, but I can only imagine what they will cost to rent. That said, sleeping 8, they might be worth considering if you share with another family.
The costs will vary from 2100 to 2900$ per night for the water Bungalows. Point wise, you're looking at 841 to 1419 points to rent one for a week.
If you're taking the 160$ a point presale price Disney is offering right now, buying a long term rental DVC contract for a single week in one of those Bungalow will set you back over 130 000$ in the cheapest season!
I take it back. That's not worth it. The best concierge suites on the cruise line are a better deal, and have a different view every day.
And I expect they'll have no problem filling the units, even so.
Life is something that happens when you can't get to sleep.
