Disney takes yet another hit during The Simpsons

For the third episode in a row, Disney was the butt of another joke by Simpsons producers. In tonight's episode, a big sign on the Springfield Mall stated: "Now Disney Store-Free!" First, DCA, then Epcot, now this! Will the Disney jokes ever end? Will we see other Disney properties being bashed in forthcoming episodes? I think the references are hilarious.

I'll have to admit that I got a good laugh out of the EPCOT episode. The end it didn't make sense though. Homer went to jump the fence of EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom was on the other side. ~The Magic Kingdom is a few miles up the road from EPCOT near the northen boundary of the resort complex. But it is a cartoon and it was funny anyway.

I really don't see the big deal about this whole Simpsons making fun of Disney thing. Tv shows make fun of other tv shows constantly. Have any of you ever watched Saturday Night Live or Mad TV? It happens all the time. And if you don't like it, then watch something else.

Actually, the park was not EPCOT, but EFCOT.

Ha! I thought one of the funniest things on the Simpsons this year was the King of the Hill clip. :)

Everybody seems to forget the Disney slam on the episode where Homer has the crayon removed from his brain. In the sequence where he is thrown out of "intellectually challenged" places, the Disney store is listed along with "The Dum Dum Club" and some others I forget at the moment.

I liked the Epcot motto on the Simpsons episode

" Epcot When everything else is closed"
