Disney Still Hates Poor People...and the Middle Class

I wasn't commenting on their financial status at all in my original post. Just simply saying that the amount of hourly Cast Members in frontline positions that drive really nice cars is higher than I would have imagined.

But its part and parcel.

I still say there isn't necessarily much you can say about someone's financial circumstances by looking at the vehicle they drive (or even where they live). There is a tendency to filter that info through our own situation, priorities, etc. which often times are very much different that those of others.

Exactly. Besides, it's an Audi, not a Bentley, for crying out loud. Those, Mercedes, BMWs, etc. are as common as Civics around here.

We met a nice couple, both CM's, that live in Windermere Cay. They make it work, with a young child. They're definitely addicted to the pixie dust. They only have one car, but living next door to work, that makes sense.

What is pictured there from AMC would cost about $10.50 if you are a Teen. That Appears to be a Teen Combo (Small Drink and Popcorn) with a Large Candy. Even at Regular Price you still end up spending $17.

Don't pay attention to Facebook unless they source their post as people write too much junk and hoaxes and so many people believe them.

Repeat Don't use Facebook as a source of Information as there's way too many hoaxes and junk there.

Thanks for the tip. We thought that was actual price.

I though that it was so unbelievable that it was apparent that the meme was false. Add in a few 3-D Imax or Big-D movie tickets though, and you can easily bring your total that high.

2 tickets to Star Wars - The Force Awakens fan preview night ran me $32. I also paid for two large drinks, a large popcorn, and two boxes of candy. I don't remember the total exactly, but counting it up in my head right now, it was probably about $60.

I call that a "movie splurge," and I do not do that often. Most of the time, I stay away from movie snacks. I might sneak a box of candy. On Tuesdays, all shows are matinee price, and popcorn, candy, and drinks are only $2. I don't often go on Tuesdays, but when I do, I might be more inclined to do the "movie splurge."

When they opened the new theater hear in Altoona last fall, one of the older theaters turned into a second run theater. All tickets are $1. I still don't go to that one very often though because they only have one screening of each movie a night, and it's not very convenient.

I'm glad this was cleared up. I was beginning to think we had uncovered another company that hates poor people.
