Disney spreads campaign money around Florida, but not for current governor

Walt Disney World, one of the largest political donors in Florida, has spent more than $1.7 million so far during this campaign cycle, cutting checks to more than 100 candidates and committees throughout the state. But one notable candidate hasn't made Disney's donation list: Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

As a State of Florida employee, I probably shouldn't say TOO much.

But man was that Charlie Crist an effective centrist leader!

My experience so far is that Florida is a weird mix of government capability. They at least seem to get school funding right to some degree, but the state definitely isn't as robust as the local governments.

If your basis for school funding comparison is Ohio, almost anything is going to seem good.
