disney questions

You could use public transit to get from Disney to Universal. I seem to remember that you would have to take one bus to the bus station downtown and then catch another to Universal. This would be the cheapest way to travel but also the most ime consuming. I think it would take well over an hour.

Then again, a taxi isn't such a bad idea. Downtown Disney is only a few miles from universal.

You wont have to worry about Carousel of Progress being closed during your visit. Due to the renovation of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter into Stich's Great Escape, both the Timekeeper and Carousel of Progress will remain open until construction is complete around October. CoP will be open everyday all day and Timekeeper will be open from 10am to 6pm. Both in recent years have traditionally only been open during the busiest times of the year...

As for Future World at Epcot...Mission:Space, Test Track, and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience among others all stay open until park closing. I've heard online that as of this week Wonders of Life Pavilion is closed with certain attractions inside will now be seasonal.

...and such

What exactly is the timekeeper? wherever I look I cant find much about this attraction.

Now if I am reading right, the C.o.p is a ride similer to a dark ride?

Also, when I was at epcot(only disney park ive been to) about 5 years ago, they had a place where you can taste soda pop from around the world. Does this place at epcot still around?

Time Keeper is a CircleVision 360 presentation. It's 360 degrees of time traveling sight-seeing and stars stars an audio-anamatronic figure voiced by the incomprable Robin Williams.

Carousel of Progress is a theatre that you sit down in and see a scene of a show presented by AA figures. The entire theatre then rotates while the stage stays still. The theatre stops rotating when you are lined up with the next stage where the next scene takes place.

And yes, there is still the international soda tasting place. Isn't it called Pop of the World? Avoid the Beverly! -ick-

I'm in the Pop of the World, looking down on creation, and the only explanation I can find....;)

LOL, I didn't find ANY beverages there that I thought were *good*, although the watermelon stuff was at least tolerable...was Beverly the horrible junk that was s'posed to soothe an upset stomach? Did the opposite for me, criminy! :(

Do NOT miss Norway....'nuff said!

...It's called Ice Station Cool. The soda there is gross.

If someone didn't say so already, there's a company called "Mears" that will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Universal, Sea World, etc. There's an 800 number for them, I'm sure. I think it was $14 for round-trip per person, when I was there in 2000. If I remember right.

"You had a rollback? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

Yes but it is a lot of fun to take "first timers" in there and have them try the one that is supposed to stimulate your taste buds. LOL! Actually there is a berry flavored one that isn't too bad. :)

I think its really cool how the entrance is like a ice cave.

Oh but is freezing when it is around 80*+ outside. The person working the entrance throws "snow balls" at you as well -- which IMHO is a cool touch. I think my favorite "non ride" part of the park is exploring Morocco and Italy. Those two pavilions just intrigue me. However the best merchandise (country-wise) goes to Canada. I just love the things they have there.

Canada eh.

I dont think I made it as far as canada when I visited the park.

Really? How did you miss it considering you had to walk right by it to get into (or out of) World Showcase. ;) 'eh.
