Disney profits up, theme parks have strong quarter

Operating profit at Disney's parks and resorts was up 21 percent to $188 million on a 12 percent increase in revenue to $1.7 billion. Attendance at Walt Disney World jumped 18 percent during the second quarter, thanks to increases in domestic and international visitors. In Southern California, Disneyland's attendance was up 8 percent from last year.

With the childs ticket selling for $39.75 and the "adult" tickets going for $49.75 they don't have any excuse not to be making profits like these. By the way, at Eisnerland you're now an "adult" at age TEN (10)!!!!!

No wonder Walt's brother Roy resigned last November and launched the SaveDisney.com website. Poor Walt must be spinning at 10K rpm's about now!!!
