I'm not crazy about the look of this atrium, as it may not last stylistically the way the other ships have. But the themes for the adult spots are cool.

I was a bit bummed when I saw the heavy Marvel influence. I felt like it was a bit of a letdown after some of the stronger announcements from earlier in the week (The Lion King was a great pick for a dinner show). I like how bright the lobby looks, and I think the cultural touches are nice, but I feel like it contributes to the feeling that this is the “Marvel ship.”

It'll be interesting to see how the onboard experiences on this class of ships differs from the previous ones (I’ve got the Wish coming up in just over a month). It seems like nautical theming is taking a backseat to IP instead of striking more of a balance like there exists on the first four ships. I’m okay with some evolution, but I’m concerned that going the Marvel route risks dating the ship. Do people still talk much about the newer Marvel movies the way they did in the days of the Infinity Saga? Seriously, I don’t know the answer.

The Magic and Wonder are in their mid-20's now, which is ancient, but with regular drydock treatments and updating, they look fantastic and not dated. Dream and Fantasy haven't changed much at all, and look great in their second decade. The Wish atrium has "castle vibes," which I imagine is fairly time-agnostic. The theaters and common spaces are also pretty neutral.

The Treasure atrium leans into Middle East themes, but I think they should have gone even harder in that direction. Those looks have been around for hundreds (thousands?) of years and I think they'll last. If the Destiny went deeper toward something like Animal Kingdom Lodge, it would have been a winner, but those opaque glass panels all around look terrible. They look like an old Carnival ship (or so I've been told). Worse yet, kids won't be able to see through them from the upper levels, so the events there are going to suck for them.

One thing that is great, the Haunted Mansion bar on Treasure and Destiny should be awesome. The Star Wars bar in that spot on Wish is a one-and-done thing, and it's not even crowded anymore, most of the time.
