Starting Oct. 24, parents can purchase children’s ticket (valid for kids aged three to nine) for the California-based Disneyland resort for as low as $50 each. Tickets can be used between Jan. 8 and March 10 of next year. As for the Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, children’s tickets and dining plans will be half-off for guests who purchase a four-day, four-night vacation package at one of its resorts. The deal starts Nov. 14 and can be used from March 3 through June 30, 2024.

I feel like the press and analysts are reading way too far into this. Pre-pandemic, this was fairly normal behavior in the shoulder seasons to get heads-in-beds. The insane, revenge-travel level of attendance and occupancy was not sustainable.

Disneyland has had some pretty attractive winter discounts in the past. We used to go in late February, and they had ticket deals through the various brokers that saved a fair bit. I can’t remember if it was only kid tickets or general. (It’s worth remembering that “kid” in Disney terms is under 10).
Vaguely related, they're easing the park hopping time restriction in the new year. Feels like we're getting closer to business as usual from before the pandemic. Wish they'd bring back free Photo Pass for passholders, just for the ephemeral social media dopamine hit of when you look right at the camera.
