Disney in California

I was wondering how close the two Disney parks are in California. I know they are both in Anaheim, but are they right next to eachother?

Yes, they are right next to each other. You can parts of Disneyland from DCA, and perhaps vice versa. You take the same tram from the parking garage to the area of both parks. Disneyland is to your left, DCA to the right.
Can you go into both parks on the same day? Is there a pass to do that?

There is a pass that allows you to hop between the parks. Its called a parkhopper pass. At max I'd say Disneyland Park and California Adventure were 100 yards apart. There is just a large midway thing that seperates the two parks. And I would recomend the park hopper pass. Although it is hard to go on everthing in just a day. Espically with how the lines usually are in Disneyland Park.
