Starting Sunday, a one-day ticket to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom will cost $105 on "value" days during slower periods, such as September. The cost for "regular" days will be $110. For "peak" days over major holiday periods, spring break and parts of the summer, the price will be $124.
Do that many people really pay for one day tickets anyway? I would imagine the number would be quite low as the passes or multi-day tickets are the obvious economic choice.
Unless of course Disney figured out that only poor people buy those pesky single day tickets, and we all know how Disney feels about them.
I would assume multi-day tickets are based on the one-day price and scale accordingly.
