Disney (Comcast On Demand)

Just a heads up for Comcast customers. If you have On Demand and assuming all areas feature the same offerings, there's a handful of Disney stuff you might want to check out.

Under On Demand choose Spotlight > Travel > Disney Vacations

There's 7 or 8 titles to watch. A couple of short 4 or 5 minute fluff pieces covering rides like Mission Space, Expedition Everest and the 50th anniversary celebration. A 30 minute show picking the top 7 rides at WDW. A short about doing Disney on a budget. A preview of the free vacation planner DVD ad ordering info. A couple of in-park concerts, Smash Mouth is one, I believe. Just things like that.

I just stumbled on to it this morning and figured it might be of interest to some of you. No idea how consistent Comcast's offerings are across the board so YMMV. :)

I wonder if that's the same Top 7 show they play on the resort TV's.

No idea.

The actual title is "Top Seven Must Sees".

The show beigns with retro graphics/animation and a swing/louge music thing going on under it. It's hosted by a chick who intorduces herself only as "Stacy" then she explains why it's a great time to be at WDW and off they go. The whole thing runs 28 minutes according to the info on the show.

Sound familiar?

That's the one they show on the in-room TVs on property. Kinda odd, but still.

Cool. I'm an inflatable palm tree away from an imaginary Disney vacation. :)

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Get the one with the monkey.

Dave Dragon, go Dave Dragon, and the Star Force Five!

Interesting that the resort TV programming would be on. Perhaps next you'll see the WDW Today loop. :)

A few friends and I where there when Stacy was filming by Big Thunder Mountain last year. She's a lot hotter in person than on tv...
It was weird. We stayed at a non-Disney resort (Westgate Lakes -timeshare) during our honeymoon and their "resort" channel also played this "Seven" show. It was cheezy, but actually partially useful. I cant remember what it was, but I recall actually using at least one piece of info from the show during the trip.

Yes, a lot of the off-property hotels play the show.

Some of the most popular meals do book far in advance.
