Anyway, it looks like Disney has bought the rights to the muppets. This will allow them - among tv and merchandise opportunities - to possibly update muppetvision 3d with a new movie. (That is pure speculation)

I believe that Busch has the rights to the Sesame Street characters.
Anyway, I think that this is good as a whole because the Muppet characters and Disney should make a very interesting combination, just as Muppet Vision 3D and Muppet Treasure Island have proven that they can be. Maybe will see a Muppet Vision update as well!
