Discovery Channel's roller coaster site has been updated with an on-ride video of Hypersonic XLC. They also have a new top ten poll. You can see a lot of high quality coaster videos by going to the poll page.

Take me there!

The video of Hypersonic is pretty amazing. Wow, that thing wastes no time taking off!

Yeah, that launch looks nothing short of awe inspiring. I do think these coasters have a way to go before they reach their potential though. Right now it's just the launch and the hill, then a quick return. Turn it into a full layout after that vertical hill and you'll have something really special. Until then it's kind of a one trick pony.

Obviously people like rides outside of Kennywood better than the ones inside of it.

Why isn't Millennium Force higher on the top ten. That coaster is by far the greatest on earth.

I though last year's Thrills, Chills, and Spills stuff on Discovery was pretty cool. Can't wait until memorial day to watch this years!

I encourage everyone to take a look at the videos on the poll page. You can see Phoenix's air even w/ the car-mounted camera! That's so cool!

Whoa! That's even faster than what I imagined it to be like. I can't even imagine what the Japanese TA2K will be like.

My goodness that is faster than I could have ever imagined! I really hope the lines are shorter when I go there this summer!

According to my browser, MF is number 2. Phoenix is absolutely running away with it.

Also, Raptor and Magnum (for all us Cp fans) are the bottom two of the top ten.

I find this crop of coasters much more worthy than the ones before it. I would have loved to see Hulk up there over Steel Force, but the wooden coaster selections are amazing.

Someone is mechanically hitting that thing, no doubt about it. Steel Force had 5000+ votes last night. I'm sure it's a good ride, but give me a break.

I agree, Jeff. I mean Steel Force beating over Millenium Force? Something is definetly wrong. I hope they wouldn't have CP all over this year's show. It's always CP this, CP that...

I have never rode Millennium Force, and I hope I don't because I don't feel like getting disappointed, and what's up with Magnum, I know it's historical but let go people!
