Discovery Channel Show?
Has anyone received any news about the Discovery Channel roller coaster show? Or does anyone have any idea on when we may receive any information?

Seeing as how they got upwards of 300 tapes (at 5 minutes a tape) it'll take a while to watch them all. I'd give it a few more weeks, possibly a month.

I'm assuming that you are speaking of the "reality" show that is to be filmed at SFMM since Micheal replied the way he did. No clue on it. There are still a few new shows that have yet to hit the air waves to. One is called "The Ultimate Thrill". It was filmed last year in the Spring and was supposed to air this past September, but no word on it yet. It looked to have the makings of a very good show. I ain't just saying that cause I'm on it either! :)

Hmmm... 300 tapes, at 5 minutes each... thats 1500 minutes, or 25 hours. Sounds like that could be done in a relatively short amount of time. One person working a 10 hour work day could get through them in 3 days. I know there is more to it than just watching, but 300 entries is chicken feed compared to the number of tapes CBS gets for Survivor.

This is true, but do you really think the people watching the tapes could mantain their sanity if they watched for 10 hours straight? Especially since I'm willing to bet that at least 1/3 of the tapes are of teenagers in their basements talking about how l337 they are.
