Discount SFKK Passes

Looking to get Jen a pass friday before SRM, I have heard Kroger has them for 50 dollars.

Wondering if this is true and if so are they still selling them?

Also where is the closest Kroger to KK?

I did this last Monday and got my season pass for six flags for $50, great price. My best guess is go to the kroger web site (look on yahoo for it) and type in louisville to find the closest one. Most of them are downtown i believe but it is well worth the 10-15 mile drive to get them.

Also the lines to get processed were pretty long and was about a 30 min wait. Hope this helps, and dont forget to ride Greezed Lightnin!

On the way to SRM on Friday, Liz and I plan to stop at a Kroger's just off of I-64 in Lexington to buy KK season passes. They're a lot cheaper than SFA's, which is where we usually buy them. I suggest you visit www.kroger.com and select 'Find Stores' on the sidebar menu. Type in the zipcode (40209 for Louisville) and you'll find a list of stores, as well as a map with every location pointed out in that zip code. If I remember correctly, I believe the closest one to KK is about 20 minutes away in Louisville, according to a KK PR rep that Liz talked to yesterday.

Any chance they are being sold in Jeffersonville or any other areas north of Louisville on I-65?

edit: Answered my own question with a trip to the SFKK website fine print states 4. Buy your season pass at Louisville, Lexington, or Southern Indiana Kroger stores for $49.99.

Taken from the official six flags web site:

I'm not sure, but the Six Flags site only mentions Kroger stores in Lexington, Louisville, and southern Indiana. I don't know where Jeffersonville is exactly.

Actually, after doing a search for stores in Jeffersonville, one came up. Your best bet is to call them and see if they're selling passes.

Jeffersonville is right across the river from Louisville.

Jeffersonville is in Southern Indiana, but it might not be the best unless you are driving through the town anyway. I believe there is a Kroger in New Albany, which is right on the Ohio River, Indiana side. That would be one of the closest stores to the park, except for the Lousiville ones.

Also, the season passes are on sale at Krogers up until June 1st, when I believe they go up $10.

I live in New Albany, and I can give you exact directions. If you are going toward Louisville on I-65 S, take off at the I-265 W exit in Southern Indiana. (Signs will say things like I-265 W to I-64.)

The second exit (the first in New Albany) is for Charlestown Road. Take this exit, and turn left off of the ramp, toward the city of New Albany. Go through several stop lights, and you will then see the Kroger on your left. It's only a few minutes out of your way, and it is a brand new, good Kroger.

Enjoy your time at SFKK!
