Dippin' Dots could play role in Covid vaccine storage

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Dippin' Dots may provide a key component needed for distributing the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The vaccine must be stored at -94 degrees Fahrenheit to remain effective at fighting the coronavirus, not an easy feat for many facilities. Dippin' Dots operates freezers that dip to -122 degrees Fahrenheit.

Only in 2020 could this have been a headline.

And here we thought the Dippin’ Dots guy was only good for outlandish rumors. Now our lives depend on him.

It's a Festivus miracle!

It really *is* the ice cream of the future.

Dippin' Dots actually made the news late last year and early this year with an explosion and fire at the only production facility in November, They were shut down for almost 2 months and started shipping limited products in later February. They were back to full production and sales by the time their customers started reopening in the summer.

I'm waiting for Trump to tell me I can be cured by injecting myself with Dippin' Dots.

I’ll have to check in with the Dippin’ Dots guy’s thoughts on when my place in the vaccine line will come up.

If you eat more Dippin' Dots and get fat, you can move up.

They truly are from the future. All this time you thought they were an ice cream company, but secretly they were sent back from the future to place a nationwide network of deep freezers to save the human race from extinction. Ice cream was simply the way to do this without raising suspicion.

I would have loved to be in that meeting.

"We have to get these deep freezers into every major city across the world...but how...?"
"I've got it! Expensive, bland ice cream in malls and amusement parks. Every city has a mall. But we'll have to start almost 30 years before they're needed."

Sucks. They still don't allow for a platinum ass discount in the Cedar Fair parks.

Great opportunities for some new flavors on the midways this summer....

"Spiked Purple Protein"

"Booster-shot-Berry"

EDIT: I just realized I typed Platinum ass. Not changing it.

Those vaccines will certainly have frozen tits

The Platinum Ass discount is still available at my local strip club, but I don't think they serve Dippin' Dots.

VIP Assholder sounds like something a Sitzpinkler might need...

It's 38 degrees in Central Florida this morning. I know there are a few of us on here in the Orlando area. May your frozen tits be merry and bright.

I'm well aware of the "Dippin Dots Guy" joke, it's been around pretty much since I crossed over into full fledged Enthusiast territory around 2001. Or so it seems anyways.

But can someone tell me the exact origin? Was it pertaining to a particular ride? Was it a forum post? Something overheard in line somewhere? I'd love to know the actual origin if anyone remembers.
